Overview

The purpose of the DTRA Basic Research Technical Review (BRTR) is to evaluate the technical progress made by basic research awardees and ensure advancement of on-going research efforts. The review also provides an excellent opportunity to foster collaborations, for mutual edification across the community of C-WMD researchers, and to build relationships with students and post-doctoral fellows.

DTRA invites you to participate on multiple days with similar topical presentations, to meet other investigators doing related research, and to interact with both DTRA and external DOD/DOE attendees that sponsor work across common technical areas. All DTRA-sponsored researchers and collaborators, especially graduate students and post-doctoral associates, are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Principal Investigators and/or Co-Investigators should plan to present during the scheduled time. ALL PRESENTATIONS SHOULD (MINIMALLY) INCLUDE THE CONTENT LISTED IN PRESENTATION GUIDANCE.

The agenda for each Wednesday includes an afternoon poster session.Undergraduate students, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows are invited to present posters of work they have performed for a DTRA Basic Research project (Principal Investigators should not plan to present posters). Together with the students and post-doctoral fellows, Principal Investigators and Co-Investigators should plan to attend the relevant poster session.
